The workshop offers a focused platform for researchers and scholars dedicated to advancing our understanding of direct democratic processes. The workshop invites papers on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to, the mechanisms of direct democracy, mobilization and direct democracy, and comparative analyses of direct democratic institutions. Our aim is to create an environment conducive to the critical yet constructive exchange of the newest research on direct democracy.
