1st Münster Replication Games – Call for Participants

Dear colleagues,

Together with the Münster Center for Open Science (Lukas Röseler), the
Center for Data Science and Complexity (Katrin Schmietendorf and Oliver
Kamps), and – of course! – the Institute for Replication, we are hosting
the first Münster Replication Games on November 28 at the ULB Münster
(and online). Participation is free of charge, of course, and there are
even limited funds available to reimburse travel and accommodation costs.

/Join us for the Münster Replication Games – a one-day event run by
the Institute for Replication https://i4replication.org and dedicated
to reproducing and replicating papers from top-tier academic journals.
Replication is an essential part of the scientific process, as it
verifies the robustness and reliability of published findings. By
participating, you will not only help strengthen research integrity but
also expand your network and sharpen your coding and research skills.
Participants will be granted co-authorship to a meta-paper combining a
large number of replications – an exciting publishing opportunity./

/Why Attend?/

/•Form a small team of 3-5 researchers and replicate a published study.
You will be matched based on research interests and a study will be
assigned to your team. Graduate students will work closely with more
experienced researchers, ensuring that everyone benefits from shared
expertise./

/•Connect with fellow researchers from the University of Münster and
beyond./

/•*Refine your coding skills *and data management techniques./

/•With participants’ permission, completed reproductions/replications
will be published on the Institute for Replication (I4R) website.
Participants will be *granted co-authorship on a meta-paper *combining
the reproductions – an exciting publishing opportunity./

/Travel Assistance
A limited number of travel grants are available for participants based
outside Münster./
