Dear EPSA Colleagues and Friends,

Let us counter COVID-induced gloom with optimism about the feasibility of in-person academic meetings this summer:

The International Political Economy divisions of the Austrian, German and Swiss Political Science Associations will hold their first Joint IPE Conference on 20-22 June 2022, which I have the honor of hosting with my colleagues Amy Pond, Timm Betz, and Tobias Rommel at the TUM Akademiezentrum in Raitenhaslach/Burghausen.

We welcome - via email to ipe@hfp.tum.demailto:ipe@hfp.tum.de by the end of the day, Sunday, 23 Jan 2022 - proposals of no more than 250 words for papers from any theoretical perspective and using a variety of methodological approaches to examine the political drivers and consequences of international economic relations and the global economic order.

In selecting papers for the conference, the joint selection committee of the DVPW, ÖGPW, SVPW and the hosts will seek to ensure that the papers presented will reflect the diversity of IPE traditions, as well as gender and national origin. We are particularly committed to providing opportunities to doctoral students/candidates, postdocs, and non-tenured faculty to present (see details in the call).

The full call is posted at

We look forward to your proposals,
Tim
