It is the largest university-based research institute for the social sciences in Germany. The Centre regularly invites applications particularly from early career researchers for MZES Visiting Fellowships. The aim of this fellowship is to encourage academic exchange and networking within the MZES. We welcome and encourage to apply and to come to Mannheim to share their ideas with us. We are explicitly open to research profiles within social science that broaden the scope of research currently carried out at the MZES. Visiting Fellows are invited to spend 2-4 weeks at the MZES, preferably during term time, which runs from mid-February through to end of May. In this round applications are open for postdoctoral researchers. This means, you should have defended your thesis by the time you intend to start the Visiting Fellowship.
