Dear colleagues, I would like to draw your attention to a call for papers for a conference on how democracies could and should defend themselves against autocratization processes. The conference takes place in late September in Brussels. A follow-up workshop is planned for end of 2023 in Berlin. We invite theoretical, conceptual, and empirical contributions.
