Full-time PhD position in Empirical Legal Studies
The KU Leuven Centre for Empirical Jurisprudence is seeking applications for a full-time PhD position starting on December 1, 2023. Our interdisciplinary research encompasses law & economics, political science, legal AI, and empirical legal studies.

- Training in quantitative methods, including experimental designs, statistical modelling, machine learning and Natural Language Processing
- Position comes with limited teaching duties (4 hours per week).
Candidates should possess:
- An excellent command of English.
- The ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary research environment.
- Familiarity with empirical methods (comprehensive training will be provided for candidates without prior knowledge).
- Knowledge of empirical, quantitative methods is advantageous but not required at the time of application.
- Knowledge of Dutch is an asset but not strictly required.
