9-11 July 2026, Prague Congress Centre, Prague, Czech Republic

IMEBESS Organizing Committee is delighted to announce the Tenth Edition of IMEBESS, which will take place at the Prague Congress Centre on 9–11 July 2026.

IMEBESS brings together researchers in all areas of the social sciences with an interest in experimental methods. We particularly welcome participation across disciplines—including anthropology, economics, political science, psychology, and sociology—united by a shared interest in experimental and behavioural research.

We are excited to host this special edition in Prague, a city renowned for its rich history, cultural vibrancy, and central role in European intellectual life.

We invite both theoretical and empirical papers on topics in all areas of the social sciences, including experimental and behavioural economics, sociology, political science, and psychology.  A number of scholarships will also be available for students from the Global South.

IMEBESS 2026 coincides with the 2026 Prague meeting of the European Political Science Association (EPSA 2026 Praguehttps://epsanet.org/).  A pre-conference LLM Workshophttps://talkingtomachines.org/upcoming-events/ on July 8, 2025 will highlight the contributions of Oxford’s very successful Synthetic Replication Gameshttps://talkingtomachines.org/projects/imebess-2025-synthetic-replication-games/ that was inaugurated at IMEBESS 2025 Valencia.
