Dear colleagues, The Department of Political Science at the University of Barcelona has an open position for a tenure-eligible assistant professor ("professor lector Serra Húnter") in Political Institutions. The position is full time and involves teaching. Environment The UB <https://www.ub.edu/web/ub/en/> offers a stimulating and lively academic research environment. The Department of Political Science runs a series of seminars, and is connected to a number of active and competent research groups such as the Institutions and Political Economy Research Group (IPERG<http://www.ub.edu/iperg>), Research Group on Local Studies (GREL<http://www.ub.edu/grel/en>), Quality of Democracy (Q-Dem<https://q-dem.com/en/>), and the Experimental Political Science Network (POLEXP<http://www.ub.edu/polexp>), among others, which also organize their own seminars and workshops. The successful candidate will be expected to take part in these activities and interact with researchers based at the UB and other visiting researchers.
