Professor in Politics University of Southampton Applications are invited for a Professorship in Politics and International Relations at the University of Southampton. This appointment will support key strategic aims of the Department of Politics and International Relations, enhancing its capacity and diversity in research leadership and leadership more generally. The successful candidate will join and strengthen our thriving research, education and knowledge exchange culture. The department has a world-leading reputation in democratic governance and global political society, political trust, democratic innovations, electoral behavior, environmental justice, global health, migration, and development. We lead in the application of cutting-edge research methods, ranging from political ethnography to experimental social science. PAIR holds major ESRC and ERC grants, UKRI Future Leader awards, British Academy Postdoctoral and Leverhulme Trust Fellowships, and the Jean Monnet Chair in European Security Governance.
