Hello Everyone, The Business and Local Government Data Research Centre (BLG DRC) based at the University of Essex is hiring a Senior Research Officer or Research Fellow. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in quantitative social science and public policy. The deadline is 13th May 2021. The BLG DRC works with the public and private sectors to enable them to use data more effectively. We also undertake fundamental and applied research in Social Sciences and advanced DS and AI techniques. The Centre also has strong connections to University departments and institutes, including the Departments of Government, Economics, Sociology, the Institute of Analytics and Data Science, and the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering.
