Call for Papers | International Workshop on 'Cultural Expertise and Litigation: Practices in South Asia and Europe'

Dear List-Members,

you are invited to consider submitting your abstract to the international workshop on 'Cultural Expertise and Litigation: Practices in South Asia and Europe' that will be organized on 2-3 December 2022 in a hybrid format at the O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), Jindal Global Law School (https://jgu.edu.in/jgls/) within the framework of the project 'Cultural Expertise and Litigation in South Asia and Europehttps://www.isrf.org/fellows-projects/cultural-expertise-and-litigation-in-south-asia-and-europe'. This project is funded by the Independent Social Research Foundation via their Small Group Projects program.

The planned main output of this workshop within the framework of the ISRF project is a special issue/section of the Jindal Global Law Reviewhttps://www.springer.com/journal/41020 (indexed in SCOPUS and published by Springer).

The timeline for the submissions and revision rounds is provided in the attached Call as well. The document also contains a more detailed description of the theme and the key questions the initiative is interested in. Please note that, in addition to standard research papers, a range of other manuscript formats, including research and case notes, review essays and interviews is invited. The abstract submission form (also linked in the Call) is available at https://forms.office.com/r/RjQraCeW7a, and we will notify authors of submitted abstracts on a rolling basis, with the final deadline for submissions being 15 July 2022.

The workshop will unfold in a hybrid format, which will permit remote connection, but for participants who are in a position to attend it in person at the O.P. Jindal Global University, selected meals will be covered, and we will be pleased to offer visa support.
