Dear colleagues,

Nadine Zwiener-Collins (University of Salzburg) and I would like to bring a call for proposals for an upcoming ECPR Joint Sessions workshop on "The political representation of minorities during the COVID-19 pandemic" to your attention. The workshop invites contributions that shed light on how unequal effects of the pandemic have affected the representation of minority groups in the democratic process.

We are looking for interdisciplinary contributions in terms of both theoretical background and methodology. We welcome submissions from PhD candidates and early-career researchers as well as established scholars in the field.

The workshop is currently planned as an in-person event in Edinburgh taking place from 19-22 April 2022 (and otherwise virtually). The deadline for submissions is 2 February 2022 via the ECPR website.

You can find further information on the workshop here: https://ecpr.eu/Events/Event/PanelDetails/11386

Best wishes,
Stefanie & Nadine
