The workshop will be held online (potentially hybrid if the situation allows it) on October 11-12, 2021. This year’s workshop is hosted by the University of Goettingen with Mathias Thoenig<https://people.unil.ch/mathiasthoenig/> (University of Lausanne) as the keynote speaker and an open plenary on “Migration and Security Policy,” which is jointly organized by us, the Centre for Global Migration Studies (CeMig)<https://www.uni-goettingen.de/en/547763.html>, and the German Development Institute/Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE)<https://www.die-gdi.de/>.
