Dear all,

We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher for the Project „Inequality Barometer“ at the Cluster of Excellence „The Politics of Inequality“ in Konstanz (100 percent employment, TVL 13). The position is limited until the end of 2025, but there is the potential of extending it until the year 2032 pending the approval of a second funding period for the cluster.

The post-doc will be in charge of coordinating and running the cluster’s Inequality Barometer. Hence, experience with conducting surveys is a strong asset for this position. The Barometer is a survey repeated every two years measuring perceptions of inequality, related preferences, and political behavior. Further topics are included in optional modules (different for each wave). Besides the overall coordination, the post-doc should make significant contributions to research on the topics at the focus of the Barometer. Public dissemination activities are also part of the job.
