We are hiring one PhD researcher and one Postdoctoral researcher for our project “Courts under pressure: How social media change discourse on the rule of law https://www.ipw.uni-hannover.de/de/forschung/vergleichende-regierungslehre-und-politisches-system-deutschlands-comparative-and-german-politics/research-projects-forschungsprojekte/” at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany.
The project analyses elite discourses on high courts in four European countries by using large-scale web data collection and automated text analysis of print media content and social media use by political actors.
We are looking for applicants with a very good knowledge of quantitative methods and an interest in automatic text analysis.
Deadline: 18 July 2021
Interviews: Early August 2021
Start date: 01 October 2021
