Leiden University has vacancy for a Post-doctoral Researcher on the Governance of Social Citizenship and Migration (1.0 fte).
Selection Criteria
- A PhD in political economy, political science, public administration, economics, sociology or another discipline that is relevant for the Institute of Public Administration and Leiden University College;
- Excellent research qualities relevant for the research profile of the Institute of Public Administration and Leiden University College, demonstrated for example by (international) publications. Ideally, the research of the candidate is related to the programme Social Citizenship and Migration.
- Experience with designing public opinion surveys, survey experiments and conducting quantitative data analysis is considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the ability to effectively communicate with external audiences;
- Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered an advantage. If the successful applicant is not fluent in Dutch, he or she will be expected to learn Dutch within a period of approximately two years;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work constructively in a team.

Terms & conditions
* We offer a full-time position for 1.0 fte (38 hours per week). This concerns a position for 2.5 years.
* Salary range from € 3,821 to € 5,230 gross per month for a full-time position (scale 11), in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities). Salary scale depends on education and experience.
* Start date: 1 June 2022.
