For my Einstein Visiting Fellow research group at Humboldt University Berlin, I would like to hire a

Postdoctoral Researcher

starting 1 June 2023 (or upon agreement). The position is temporary until 31.05.2026

Your tasks

You will contribute to the project “Electoral trade-offs in post-industrial societies” of the Einstein Visiting Fellow Tarik Abou-Chadi (University of Oxford). The project is part of the Oxford-BUA strategic partnership and will be based at Humboldt University Berlin. The group will consist of a doctoral and post-doctoral researcher and will be associated with the DYNAMICS research training group as well as the chair of Comparative Political Behavior. You will support the Einstein Visiting Fellow with data collection, data analysis and the publication of the results in top international journals.

Your profile

  •             PhD in political science or a related field (thesis submitted at start of position)
    
  •             Internationally visible publications or demonstrated potential for international publications
    
  •             Excellent skills in quantitative methods
    
  •             Focus on Political Behavior
    
  •             Strong command of English. Knowledge of German is an asset.
