Dear fellow political scientists,
UM6P is recruiting three tenure-track faculty members from all ranks (announcements attached):
A comparativist (Assistant or Associate Prof) with a preferred focus on the Global South, particularly Africa or the Middle East
*
A quantitative methods scholar (Assistant or Associate Prof)
*
A scholar who specializes in the quality of governance, institutional reform and/or corruption (Associate or Full Prof) with a preferred focus on some part of the Global South, particularly Africa or the Middle East
UM6P is a wonderful institution with a lot to offer, including generous salaries (even by Western standards), excellent benefits, substantial research support, efficient staff, outstanding students (we have a 2.5% acceptance rate), accomplished colleagues, and a pleasant sunny location (the lovely Moroccan capital city of Rabat). In spite of being only fifteen years old, UM6P is already ranked among the top 350-400 universities in the world by the Times Higher Education. Teaching can be in either English or French (all our students are at least trilingual).
I will be happy to answer any questions in my capacity as co-chair of the search committee.
Thank you and very best wishes,
Abdulkader Sinno
Professor of Political Science
Social Sciences, Economics and Humanities Cluster
