Dear EPSA members,

I am hiring a postdoctoral researcher to work on the project "Politicians, Policies, and the Reproduction of Wealth", funded by the Volkswagen Foundation with 1.6 million Euros.

The project focuses on the role of politicians in the reproduction of wealth in Brazil, South Africa, the United

Kingdom and Germany. Together with an international team of political scientists, legal scholars, and economists, the project will examine the extent to which the social and economic characteristics of members of parliament correspond to those of economic elites, how this affects policy-making and the incomes of the wealthy. The position requires advanced knowledge of quantitative methods with a focus on data management and data analysis.

The other project PIs come from the University of Marburg, the University of Cape Town, and Fundação Getulio Vargas in Sao Paulo.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
