As part of CESS’s continued commitment to the training and mentorship of junior experimentalists, we are excited to announce our next introductory course on oTree.

This course aims to introduce students and researchers to oTree, a leading Python-based framework to develop and administer experiments in the social sciences. The course is best suited for beginners, as it does not assume any prior knowledge of programming either in Python or in any front-end language such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Over the span of the course, participants will develop the skills necessary to program experiments of simple-medium complexity and the ground work to feel confident working with the oTree framework. Participants will also be given ample opportunities to discuss their individual projects with the instructor during dedicated office hours.

Dates
The course will run from 5th March - 5th April
The primer sessions will run on Tuesday 5th and Friday 8th of March.
Class times: Tuesdays and Fridays, 14:00 – 17:00 (UTC+1).
