The School of Social & Political Science at the University of Glasgow is seeking to make a series of Professorial appointments in the following thematic areas:
- Improving health and wellbeing: addressing health inequalities and facilitating health and welfare systems improvement that deliver prosperity, productivity and inter-generational wellbeing
- Delivering sustainability: enabling environmental and cross-generational/species justice, supporting policy coordination for Net-Zero 2050, developing resilient urban futures and building capacity for the management of extreme climate change events
- Enhancing democracy and citizenship: exploring cosmopolitan citizenship and global governance, enhancing public engagement and trust
- Ensuring effective and progressive public policy-making: enabling evidence-based public service improvements, open-data, digital analytics and visualisation for decision-making, promoting public involvement and championing equalities and social justice.
