Dear Colleagues,

The Standing Group on Citizenship is inviting paper and panel proposals
for  Section 11 (S11):Citizenship in Permacrisis: Policies, Politics and
Citizen Behavior.

Sections Co-Chairs: Kjetil Borhaug, Nora Siklodi and Leila Cornips

Deadline: 28 February

We are particularly interested in receiving panel and paper proposals
focusing on (one of) the following themes:

• Citizenship policies and policy changes from an international and/or
comparative perspective;

• Challenges to the existing frameworks of citizenship from intersectional
perspectives, such as migration, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual identity
etc. viewpoints;

• Citizenship in and of populist and right-wing mobilisations;

• Dynamics of citizenship with other key policies, e.g. integration,
healthcare, social policies and protection, education;

• Trends and changes in public political behaviour, practices and attitudes;

• Public opinion towards/of citizenship;

• The salience and meaning of citizenship in current political debates;

• Patterns of transnational political mobilisation;

• Narratives of belonging in diverse societies;

• Controversies and tensions in citizenship education

• The role of transnational actors in developing and managing post-national
citizenship regimes.

Please note, we have spaces for both online and in-person panels this year

Also, colleagues do not have to be a member of ECPR (i.e. come from an
ECPR member institution) or the Standing Group to propose a panel or a
paper.
