Dear colleagues,
This is a reminder that the below call for extended abstracts for the
Workshop on Right Parties and (In)equality is closing on 28 February:

"Right Parties and (In)equality: Myth and Reality"
University of Konstanz, May 11, 2023
The workshop, hosted by the Varieties of Egalitarianism
<voe-project.org/> project (University of Konstanz), and Noam Gidron
(Hebrew University of Jerusalem), aims to shed light on the changing
ways in which different parties right of the center — center right,
radical right, and extreme right parties — conceive of (in)equality.
Issues the workshop intends to focus on include, but are not limited to:
- The extent to which right parties have changed their profiles and
ideology regarding equality.
- The determinants of ideological change on the right on issues
related to various inequalities.
- The utility of categories of party families, and the
mainstream\radical distinction, on the right.
- The adoption of certain egalitarian and/or anti-egalitarian policies
by parties right of the center.
We invite papers that adopt diverse methodological toolkits and
theoretical perspectives. The one-day-event will be followed by a
workshop dinner and covers accommodation costs for two nights.
Please submit your abstract (<400 words) by 28 February 2023**to
voe@uni-konstanz.de.
Best regards,
Martin Haselmayer
