apologies for cross-posting
Dear colleagues,
My co-chairs and I warmly invite paper proposals for our permanent study group “Public Policy” a the 2023 conference of the European Group for Public Administration taking place in Zagreb from September 6-8.
The topic of this year’s call is “Implementation as Policy Innovation: Creativity, Discretion, and Problem-solving”. The workshop invites contributions that help us understand how and why we see positive and creative uses of discretion in policy implementation, what purposes they serve, and what effects they have on policy outcomes, impacts, legitimacy, acceptance, and so on. Please find more information in the attached call for papers. We kindly invite researchers interested in the workshop theme to submit a short abstract (max. one page) until May 17, 2023 outlining:
− the title of the paper
− the research question, argument and contents of the paper
− the research methods and empirical material used
− name, affiliation, and contact information of the author(s)
