Dear colleagues,

At University of Muenster, we are currently looking for two postdoc
researchers in our new Horizon 2020 project INCITE-DEM.

The project analyzes if and how deliberative and interactive procedures
of citizen involvement in the design, adoption and implementation of
sustainability policies may improve citizens’ satisfaction with
democracy and trust in representative institutions. The two positions
are intended to conduct research in the framework of work packages that
are led by Doris Fuchs, Bernd Schlipphak, and Oliver Treib. Position 1
will focus primarily on developments in the institutions of
representative democracy in EU member states and on current trends in
procedures of citizen participation. Position 2 will be devoted
primarily to collect and analyze survey data on visions of, and
attitudes towards, democracy among the citizens of EU member states.
