We seek applications from highly qualified graduates holding a research-oriented Master’s degree for our full-time, fully funded three-year doctoral program starting in September 2021. Our program is limited to about five students per year. The intense nature and small class-size of the program offers numerous research opportunities for graduate students. You can conduct your research in a unique interdisciplinary environment within the social sciences (Data Science, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Business Administration). You will have ample opportunity to collaborate and co-author research papers with faculty who are experts in research fields such as comparative politics, international relations, political economy, political behavior, as well as formal theory and quantitative methods (see our faculty page <https://www.sowi.uni-mannheim.de/en/about/professors/political-science/>).
