Postdoc in policy and wellbeing research, IFiS PAN, 3 years, remote work
possible, paid full time but only 3 days of work per week expected
IFiS PAN, in consortium with LSE, PSE and University of Luxembourg, is
looking for a postdoc to conduct policy and wellbeing research. The postdoc
will work on the project “Wellmod: a Wellbeing Simulation Model for
Enhancing Wellbeing for the Future” as a part of a highly-competitive NORFACE
CHANSE grant. This post will link research with policy outreach: we will
work in close collaboration with policymakers and stakeholders across
Europe to avoid "the ivory tower" approach and to stand a high chance of
influencing public policies that will translate into higher wellbeing of
their populations. The post is flexible and compatible with other work and
life commitments. Remote work is possible (with visits to Warsaw). The post
is paid full time but I expect you to work, on average, 25 hours per week.
Your profile:
-
Interest in wellbeing research and public policy issues in Europe.
-
Strong statistics skills in R or Stata.
-
Excellent written and spoken English.
-
Extreme attention to detail, ability to work systematically with minimal
supervision.
-
PhD in hand (Economics, Sociology, or Politics are preferred but any
field will be considered if sufficiently justified).
