Tenure-track Appointment in The School of Political Science, Government and International Affairs,

Tel Aviv University

The School of Political Science, Government, and International Affairs at Tel Aviv University invites applications for an open rank tenure-track position. Priority will be given to researchers specializing in international relations and security studies. The appointment will begin on October 1st, 2026.

Successful candidates must have a PhD in Political Science or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment. Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence and are expected to pursue an innovative research program. They must also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Hebrew is the primary language of instruction at Tel Aviv University, and candidates are expected to be able to teach courses in Hebrew within three years of their appointment.

Applicants should send a letter of interest along with a curriculum vitae, a writing sample (article or up to two chapters), and brief research and teaching statements (no more than two pages for each statement).
