We have recently launched a new interdisciplinary Computation and Design major, with a strong research and teaching focus on how computation and technology have shaped the urban environment. We now seek a new member whose area of research expertise lies in system design, smart technologies, urban informatics, virtual/augmented/mixed reality, and/or artificial intelligence. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, Information Science, or a related field. The position is targeted at tenure-track faculty, but those in mid-and-or senior careers are also encouraged to apply.
