Dear all,

Newcastle University Politics is looking to recruit a Research Associate with a background in computational social science (social media data, text analysis, and machine learning especially). The candidate will be part of the 'Supporters and opponents of the European Union: The consequences of increasing divisions in and for Europe (ProConEU)' and will closely with members of the project team in the UK and internationally, contributing to study of the cleavage between supporters and opponents of the EU and European Integration.

This post is a fixed-term Research Associate/Assistant position, to be held full-time (100% FTE) tenable until 28th February 2023. If successful at the interview you will start work as soon as possible on/after 1 August 2021.

You will work under the supervision of Dr. Sebastian Popa (Newcastle University) and in close collaboration with Dr. Zoltán Fazekas (Copenhagen Business School).
