Call for Papers: Politics of Stigmatization and Human Insecurities in Hybrid Regimes: Actors, Mechanisms, and Responses

Dear Colleagues,

The Keyman Modern Turkish Studies at Northwestern University and the Centre for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invite applications to the interdisciplinary workshop "Politics of Stigmatization and Human Insecurities in Hybrid Regimes: Actors, Mechanisms, and Responses".

The workshop aims to offer a platform for researchers from various academic fields to discuss the politics of stigmatization, forms of insecurities, and potential counterstrategies in hybrid regimes. A group of selected papers from the workshop will be published in a special issue or an edited volume by a university press. We can cover a limited number of participants’ travel and accommodation.
