The Department of Government at the University of Essex, in partnership with the NGO Action On Armed Violence, invites applications for a PhD position. The successful candidate will work on the project: "Explosive violence against civilians in the shadow of international law: causes and consequences". The position is fully funded for 3 years and includes a stipend as well as funding for training and conferences.
