Dear colleagues,

Please spread this in your network, apologies for any cross-posting.

The Department of Political Science, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, is now searching for a PhD candidate that will be funded for four years (possible extension one year through teaching) to work on environmental politics.
See:https://web103.reachmee.com/ext/I005/1035/job?site=7&lang=UK&validator=9b89bead79bb7258ad55c8d75228e5b7&job_id=23161

The department has a large and diverse faculty and hosts various centers of international reputation (such as the V-Dem institute, the QoG institute, the CeCAR centre and the Swedish National Election Studies).

It is a vibrant scholarly community and a bilingual environment (i.e. several current PhD students only speak English).

We seek motivated candidates and welcome applicants with different methodological backgrounds and thematic interests. The student is free to choose whether she/he wants to work on an independent project related to environmental politics or work together with faculty in an existing project.

PhD-students at the University of Gothenburg are fully salaried and there are opportunities to access funds to fieldwork and conference-related expenses.

Applications are due 2022-02-04, the candidate will start in September 2022.
