Dear colleagues, The German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) in Hamburg is looking to hire a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for its new Digital Transformation Lab (DigiTraL) under the lead of Amrita Narlikar<https://www.giga-hamburg.de/en/team/11564901-narlikar-amrita/>, Christian von Soest<https://www.giga-hamburg.de/en/team/11564977-von-soest-christian/>, and Jann Lay<https://www.giga-hamburg.de/en/team/11565324-lay-jann/>, funded by the Federal Foreign Office. Screening of applications will begin on 12 July 2021. DigiTraL will analyse the political drivers and consequences of the global digital transformation with a focus on diplomacy and statecraft. The research will study the related global developments and include perspectives and actions of countries, companies, and citizens from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
