Could you please share the following two funding opportunities with EPSA
members? The first is for faculty, the second is for doctoral students.

*Summer Institute for Israel Studies 2023 Faculty Fellowship *
June 28 - July 9 at Brandeis University and July 10-19 in Israel.
Competitive fellowship program open to faculty in all disciplines
interested in teaching about Israel. Stipend of up to $2,500. Travel,
accommodations, and most meals provided. *Apply by January 17, 2023. *Learn

    multidisciplinary Brandeis seminar
    • Meet with leading personalities in public life, the academy and the
      arts on a 10-day Israel study tour

    • Create a syllabus and depart equipped to teach an Israel Studies course
      in your discipline
    • Join a network of more than 372 alumni, teaching at over 260
      institutions worldwide — forging academic collaborations, sharing

      candidates who grew up in the Middle East or North Africa and who are

Schusterman Doctoral Fellowships in Israel Studies at Brandeis University
Available to doctoral candidates focusing on Israel who have been accepted
into the Brandeis University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in
departments such as history, politics, anthropology, sociology, and Near
Eastern & Judaic studies.

Full tuition scholarship

$36,000 stipend

Individual health insurance coverage

Funding package is renewable for up to five years
