Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite paper submissions for the panel: P04. Social
Accountability for Governance Improvements
at the 6th International
Conference on Public Policy (ICPP6) in Toronto and online (June 27-29,
2023). The panel will have a hybrid format and aims to understand the
effects of social accountability initiatives on governance. Some questions
that the panel would address are:

  • What is the influence of social accountability on governance in
    different contexts and regimes?
  • What is the extent of the effectiveness of social accountability?
  • How can we explain the paradox between fostering participation
policies and opening more channels of social accountability and its limited
    effects on governance?

We very much welcome different disciplinary fields, methods and regions.

For all of you who are interested in participating, the call for papers is
open *until January 31st: *IPPA - International Conference on Public Policy
6 - Toronto 2023 (ippapublicpolicy.org)
https://www.ippapublicpolicy.org/conference/icpp6-toronto-2023/17

Please, contact us if you have questions about it.

Best regards,

Giovanna Rodríguez-García & Everardo Chiapa
