Dear Colleagues,

I am looking to fill a postdoctoral fellow position to investigate intra-party factions as part of the ERC-funded project INTRAPARTYhttps://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101041316. I would be grateful if you could help circulate the ad to relevant contacts in your networks. You can find all the details when following the link below:

Postdoctoral Fellow in Political Science, Political Sociology or Political History (3 years, 100%, fully funded)https://web103.reachmee.com/ext/I005/1035/job?site=7&lang=UK&validator=9b89bead79bb7258ad55c8d75228e5b7&job_id=27499

The project uses descriptive, experimental, and quasi-experimental research to examine how and when factions affect parties’ electoral performance.

The ideal candidate has excellent skills in computational text-as-data approaches, including natural language processing and machine learning, and causal inference plus strong academic writing and methods skills. The candidate must hold (or be close to completing) a PhD degree in Political Science or any other field relevant to the project.

The deadline for applying is November 15, 2022. The start date is March 1, 2023 or subject to agreement.

I am happy to answer any questions about the position or the application process.

Thank you in advance,
Ann-Kristin
