We are accepting submissions for our new season of online workshops taking place from 31 January 2023 to 23 May 2023. We aim to select eight early-career scholars (e.g., PhD, postdoc, assistant professors) to present their ongoing research. We strive to provide a comprehensive perspective on autocratic tendencies worldwide and encourage submissions from

Traditionally underrepresented groups, including women and minorities.

Scholars whose regional areas of study are not adequately represented in the mainstream study of authoritarianism. We also consider explicitly comparative proposals on democratic backsliding, autocratization, regime survival etc.
