IMEBESS 2024 is open for paper submissions! Andris Saulitis (University of Latvia & Collegio Carlo Alberto,) is pleased to announce the Eighth International Meeting on Experimental and Behavioural Social Sciences (IMEBESS) at the University of Latvia, Academic Centre, Riga, Latvia, 23 -25 May 2024 IMEBESS aims to bring together researchers in all areas of the social sciences who are interested in experimental methods. We are particularly interested in the participation of all social science disciplines with an interest in experimental and behavioural research, including anthropology, economics, political science, psychology, and sociology. The organising committee includes the following members: Ray Duch (University of Oxford) Jordi Brandts (Institute for Economic Analysis (CSIC)) Diego Gambetta (Collegio Carlo Alberto) Laura Fortunato (University of Oxford), Sonja Vogt (University of Lausanne) Edward Asiedu (University of Ghana Business School) Enrique Fatas (European University of Valencia) Klarita Gërxhani (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) Wojtek Przepiorka (Utrecht University) Astrid Hopfensitz (Emlyon business school) Sonja Vogt (University of Lausanne) Andris Saulitis (University of Latvia & Collegio Carlo Alberto) Both theoretical and empirical papers on topics in all areas of the social sciences, such as experimental and behavioural economics, sociology, political science, and psychology are encouraged. A number of scholarships will also be available for students from the Global South. The deadline for submitting abstracts is 01 February 2024. Authors will receive notification of acceptance by 01 March 2024.
