Dear colleagues

Jonathan Zeitlin and I warmly invite panel and paper proposals for the
section “Regulatory Governance in the European Union” at the 11th Biennial
Conference of the ECPR Standing Group on the European Union taking place
from 8-10 June 2022 at Luiss University, Rome.

The section invites panel and paper proposals on current trends and
transformations in the scope, forms, functions, and consequences of EU
regulatory governance - economic, social and cultural. The section also
welcomes papers that examine the effects of EU regulatory governance, and
that compare its external and internal dimensions, including placing it in
the wider global context. It invites linkage between empirical papers and
broader theoretical approaches to EU integration and multilevel governance,
regulatory governance and policy making, such as intergovernmentalism and
(neo/post) functionalism, governance theories, institutionalisms and
constructivism, federalism, and theories of the policy process. Find out
more details about the section here:

https://ecpr.eu/Events/Event/SectionDetails/1186

Proposals are due to be submitted via the myECPR platform by 15.12.2021.
Please follow the guidelines outlined here:

Best wishes
