Dear colleagues,

We’re please to announce that the Quantitative Political Economy group (QPE)https://sites.google.com/view/kingsqpe/home of KIng’s College London is holding its 3rd Annual Workshop for PhD Students and Postdocs.

This workshop will gather PhD students and Postdocs from any social science background that use advanced quantitative methods and/or formal modeling to study politics and policies.

Each presenter’s expenses (travel and hotel) will be reimbursed for up until 500£. Catering will be provided throughout the duration of the workshop. We will also offer all participants dinner on the evening of the 18th. Pending further financing, we might be able to entirely cover your expenses.

There will be a total of 10 presentations (from Thursday 18th at 10am to Friday the 19th at 6pm) for about 40 minutes each. Each paper will have a discussant from senior political economists based in London.

We look forward to offer excellent network opportunities, accurate feedback and cool social events and to early career quantitative political economists.

When: 18-19 May 2023
Where: Central London (King’s College London)

About QPE: Based in the Department of Political Economy at KCL, the Quantitative Political Economy group (QPE)https://sites.google.com/view/kingsqpe/home strives to gather political scientists and economists and is committed to bridging the two disciplines.
