We are accepting submissions for our new season of online workshops taking place from 12 September 2023 to 12 December 2023. We aim to select eight early-career scholars (e.g., PhD, postdoc, assistant professors) to present their ongoing research. We strive to provide a comprehensive perspective on autocratic tendencies worldwide and encourage submissions from
- Traditionally underrepresented groups, including women and minorities.
- Scholars whose regional areas of study are not adequately represented in the mainstream study of authoritarianism.
- We also consider explicitly comparative proposals on democratic backsliding, autocratization, regime survival etc.
