I am looking to hire a research assistant at the Chair of Quantitative Political Science Methods at the Leibniz University Hannover. The position is on the TV-L 13 pay scale (65%, approx. 34,000 Euro p.a.). The initial appointment is for three years. An extension is possible.
Responsibilities
- Conducting research and supporting the ongoing research at the Chair
- Collaborating on coauthored publications
- Teaching one class per semester
Employment conditions
- Master in political science or neighboring field
- Substantive interest in parties, parliaments, or methodology
- Experience with quantitative political science methods
- Experience with computational social science/machine learning is appreciated, but not required
