Dear colleagues,

Apologies for cross-posting. We invite paper proposals for the two-day workshop "The politics of residential mobility: Causes and consequences", to be held at the MZES, University of Mannheim, Germany, on February 01-02, 2024.

This workshop explores politically salient drivers of residential choice as well as the political repercussions of domestic migration for individuals, places, and politics. We invite contributions from across the social sciences and encourage paper proposals that employ innovative methodological approaches. Please refer to the call for papers for details: https://www.mzes.uni-mannheim.de/d7/sites/default/files/event/attachments/mzes-cfp-politics-of-residential-mobility.pdf.

Proposals must be submitted to mzes-resmopol@uni-mannheim.demailto:mzes-resmopol@uni-mannheim.de by July 26, 2023. The MZES will cover the costs for hotel accommodation and reimburse travel expenses (within generous limits).

Please share this call widely and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

Best wishes,
Denis Cohen and Sandra Morgenstern
