We invite applications for 4 postdoc positions at the MDC (Migration, Diaspora, Citizenship) initiative at the University of Münster.
Your work should broadly touch upon Migration, Diaspora, Citizenship. Note that we understand citizenship as a very broad concept including civic citizenship, social citizenship, and political citizenship, i.e. it includes questions regarding suffrage, language as well as all other types of participatory rights in democracies and non-democracies.
The offer
- Application deadline: 27.06.2025
- No teaching obligations, focus on research only!
- Generous support for travel and secondments at partner institutions
- You meet other international fellows that come from all kinds of disciplines and backgrounds
- Start date: May 1, 2026
- Duration: fixed term for 2 years
- You need to comply with the EU mobility rules (see advert for more infos)
- Working hours: full-time (100%)

Your profile
- Completed academic university degree and doctoral degree in the field of Political Science, History, Economics, or Economic History
- Proven experience in quantitative methods of data analysis (preferably R/Stata)
- German is no requirement for the position
