EXTENDED DEADLINE to submit your paper proposal/s for the IMEBESS 2024 – 15th February!

Andris Saulitis (University of Latvia & Collegio Carlo Alberto,) along with the EPS Academic are pleased to announce the Eighth International Meeting on Experimental and Behavioural Social Sciences (IMEBESS) at the University of Latvia, Academic Centre, Riga, Latvia, 23 -25 May 2024

IMEBESS aims to bring together researchers in all areas of the social sciences who are interested in experimental methods. We are particularly interested in the participation of all social science disciplines with an interest in experimental and behavioural research, including anthropology, economics, political science, psychology, and sociology.

IMEBESS 2024 is also committed to ensuring the active participation of scholars from the Global South.  IMEBESS 2024 will be providing travel and accommodation support for a limited numbers of scholars from the Global South – details on the subvention will be circulated and announced shortly on the IMEBESS 2024 web page.

A two-day pre-conference workshop – Talking to Machines - is scheduled for the 21-22 May 2024 just prior to the main IMEBESS Conference.  Registered attendees to the IMEBESS 2024 conference are eligible to attend the workshop.

Both theoretical and empirical papers on topics in all areas of the social sciences, such as experimental and behavioural economics, sociology, political science, and psychology are encouraged. A number of scholarships will also be available for students from the Global South.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15 February 2024. Authors will receive notification of acceptance by 01 March 2024.
