Dear colleagues, we are hiring doctoral candidate (3-year program) in political science, sociology, economics, or related disciplines working with SCRIPTS’ Research Group “Comparative Survey” and becoming a full member of the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS). The position is based at Freie Universität Berlin within the cluster of excellence SCRIPTS (https://www.scripts-berlin.eu/). Candidates are expected to participate in the analysis of an opinion survey already conducted in more than 25 countries (Public Attitudes towards the Liberal Script, PALS). While additional data may be used in the doctoral thesis, the survey data should play a key role in answering the candidate’s research question (which could also be methodological in nature). Candidates should have expertise in (survey) data analysis, quantitative methods, and relevant analytical tools.
