Dear colleagues, we are hiring a predoc for three years at the Department of Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. Fluency in English is required, some command of German is a plus. The position is tied to the ERC Consolidator project POLITSOLID: Experimental Analyses of Political Solidarities in European Democracies (PI Achim Goerres). We are conducting all kinds of experiments to find causal effects of political solidarities. The ideal candidate should care about the human motivation for political behaviour and be enthusiastic about all kinds of methods involving experiments and programming. The net monthly salary after taxes and health insurance is ~ 1,700 €.
