Call for papers - International Conference on Development Economics
The CERDI (Centre d’Etude et de Recherche en Développement International) will be hosting the 2022 edition of the International Conference on Development Economics from June 30th to July 1st, 2022 in Clermont-Ferrand, France. All research papers related to development issues are welcome.

Call for papers - Special Issue of Hacienda Publica Española, Review of Public Economics
To better understand the causes and consequences of economic insecurity, vulnerability and inequality, and in order to focus on their policy implications, Hacienda Publica (HPE)/Review of Public Economics is launching a special issue devoted to these three topics and their interrelations. The main goal of this Special Issue is to receive empirical and methodological contributions on the theme of economic insecurity, vulnerability and inequality, in both low-income and advanced countries, special emphasis being given to the role of public policies.
Specific topics may include, but are not restricted to a comparative analysis of economic insecurity, vulnerability and/or inequality by regions or countries.
A longitudinal analysis of economic insecurity, vulnerability and inequality in specific countries.
The measurement of economic insecurity, vulnerability and inequality.
The impact of public policy on economic insecurity, vulnerability and inequality.
All the submitted papers will be peer reviewed by referees who have made important contributions to the three topics which are the focus of this special issue and the latter will be published in 2023.

Full papers should be in English and submitted electronically through the journal’s page in Berkeley Electronic Press (Bepress) at http://services.bepress.com/hpe. Please, remember to select the option “Call for Papers” in the prompt for “Type of Submission”.
Pre-formatting to our publication style is not necessary. Final formatting is required only after acceptance.
Submission deadline: September 1st, 2022.
Expected special issue publication date (in print): 2023.

Postdoc fellowship – WISERD Cardiff University
The Wales Institute for Economic Research, Data & Methods (WISERD) is pleased to announce a second call for applications to its Civil Society Fellowship scheme, aimed at providing a career development opportunity for those in the immediate postdoctoral stage of their career, to provide the opportunity to consolidate their PhD through developing publications, their networks, and their research and professional skills.
The WISERD fellowship opportunities are designed to support those who are within 12 months of completing their PhD, to support them in consolidating their PhD and to prepare them for the next stage of their research careers either within or beyond academia. Through being embedded within a dynamic centre for research, engagement and training, fellows will have the opportunity to undertake a varied programme of activities supporting their continued development. We encourage those who are near to completing their doctoral thesis, or who have less than 12-months postdoctoral experience to apply – fellowship start dates are flexible (the post can commence as late as September 2022) and the role can be carried out on a full-time or part-time basis.
