Dear colleagues,

We are seeking applications for the position of a full professor of
Comparative Politics at the Department of Political Science, WWU Münster.

Please find the job opening in a very formal English translation
attached. It can be summarized as follows: Besides the formal
requirements (such as a PhD etc.), we are searching for candidates who
have a proven track record of research on democracy in comparative
perspective, can contribute to the further teaching and research foci of
the department (among them a study programme and research on the
sustainability-democracy nexus), have successfully acquired competitive
research grants, and demonstrate a convincing teaching portfolio. As
teaching in our department is partly conducted in German and internal
administrative procedures require German language skills as well,
candidates will have to demonstrate a B2 level (CEFR) of German language
proficiency.

Please forward this job opening to potentially interested colleagues. If
you have any questions, please do not hesitate to come back to me.
Please also note that the deadline is June 3, 2022.

Best regards,
Bernd
